“CRIME OF THE WEEK”

April 17, 2014

 

Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole an IPad 3 from Rent-A-Center located at 2401 North Avenue on Thursday, January 16th around 3:00 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white female, 25-30 years of age, approximately 5’4” to 5’6” tall, weighing 130-170 lbs. with shoulder length brown hair.  She was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants, and white shoes and carried an orange backpack.  The stolen IPad 3 has a black front with a silver back and worth over $600.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the subject(s) involved in a burglary.

Shortly after 12:25 pm on Monday, January 13th, unknown suspects unlawfully entered the Tile Meister property located at 611 N. 1st Street.  Once inside, the male and female suspects removed copper and aluminum scrap materials and a cast iron bath tub.  The total estimated property loss is less than $2,000.  The surveillance photo of the subject’s vehicle can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

4/3/2014 - Theft Suspects Wanted

April 3, 2014

 

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) that were involved in a theft.

Sometime between Friday, March 14th and Sunday, March 16th, unknown suspect(s) entered the property located at 540 Grand Mesa Avenue, Grand Junction and removed a 2000 Bobcat 753 Skid Steer.  The Bobcat was described as white and orange with a 72” bucket on the front.  On the back of the vehicle the “Bob Cat” logo was changed to “Bob Inger.”  The total estimated property loss is $12,500.

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to locate the subject involved in an auto theft.

Sometime between 8 a.m. on Monday, February 24th and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, an unknown subject removed cash and the victim’s driver’s license and car keys from their purse located in the CMU Nursing Instructor’s office, room 72A on the lower level of the Maverick Pavilion.  The subject later stole the victim’s white 2005 Dodge Caravan parked in the lower level parking garage outside the Maverick Pavilion.  The total property loss is over than $10,000.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

3/20/2014 - Burglary Suspects Wanted

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) that were involved in a burglary.

Shortly after 9:15 a.m. on Monday, February 17th the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglary in 100 block of Mesa Grande Drive on the Redlands.  While inside the residence, the unknown suspects removed eight firearms, including a 50 caliber muzzle loader and two Smith & Wesson .38 caliber handguns and multiple rare coins.  In addition to the property loss, the suspects vandalized and damaged property during the burglary.

3/13/2014 - Shooting Suspect Wanted

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect(s) responsible for shooting cows.

Sometime between 8:00 am and 11:30 am on Thursday, December 26, 2013, unknown subjects shot and killed a 3 year old bred cow near 21 Road and the desert in Mesa County.  Then recently, between Monday, February 24th and Wednesday, February 26th, unknown subjects shot and killed another cow near 18 Road and the desert in Mesa County.  Estimated value of the cows is $4,600.

The Grand Junction Police Department needs the public’s help to identify and locate suspect(s) that were involved in an assault and robbery.

On Friday, February 7th at about 9:20 pm, a white male approached the victim in the south alley of the 800 block of Texas Avenue.  The subject assaulted and robbed the victim before fleeing the area.

The suspect was described as a young college age white male, approximately 6’ to 6’3” tall with a skinny built and wore a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to identify and locate the female suspect that was involved in an assault and vandalism.

On Sunday, February 16th just after 9:50 pm the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of an assault that occurred at Pete’s House of Spirits located at 1560 North Avenue.  The female suspect became irate after the clerk refused to sell her alcohol without a valid ID.  She assaulted the clerk then knocked down the beer bottles.  Video surveillance captured a Hispanic female approximately 18-20 years old and last seen wearing a black jacket with brown fur on the hood and a red bandana wrapped around her red streaked dark hair.  The suspect fled in a black KIA passenger car.  The surveillance photos of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to identify and locate the subjects that were involved in a burglary.

On Sunday, December 8, 2013 just after 9:30 pm the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 1900 block of Grand Avenue.  The unknown subjects forced entry into the back door.  Once inside, they removed several items including a silver wrist watch, Mac Laptop computer, a 42 inch LG LCD TV, Funai DVD player, several movies, a Play Station 3 and Nintendo 64 game consoles, several Play Station 3 and Nintendo 64 controllers and games, various clothing and a pair of red/white/blue Air Jordan shoes.  The total estimated property loss is over $2,500.

2/13/2014 - Burglary Suspects Wanted

This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the subject(s) involved in a burglary.

Sometime between 5 pm on Friday, January 24th and 9 pm on Sunday, January 26th, unknown suspects forced entry into Sanitary Supply Corporation located at 787 22 Road.  Once inside, the suspects removed a Tennant Model 1200 Carpet Cleaning Extractor and Model V WD 15S Wet/Dry Vacuum, Clarke brand BOS 18 Floor Machine, Boost 20 Floor Machine, TFC 400 All Purpose Cleaner, Ultra Speed 2000DC Burnisher and two Super Coach Pro 6 Backpack Vacuums.  The total estimated damage and property loss is over $13,000.
