This week Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying and locating the suspect(s) that were involved in vandalizing USA Trucking vehicles located at 2133 Bond Street. Sometime between 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11th and 6:30 am on Tuesday, January 12th, unknown suspect(s) used a BB or pellet type weapon to damage seven semi tractor windshields. The total estimated damage is over $2,000.

| | 1/26/2012 - Hit and Run Suspect Sought | CRIME OF THE WEEK
“January 26th, 2012”
Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help in locating a vehicle and identifying the driver of the vehicle.
On Tuesday January 24th, 2012 between 8:45 pm and 9:00 pm in the area of F ½ Road and 29 Road a red passenger vehicle struck a pedestrian, leaving the pedestrian hospitalized with serious injuries.
The red passenger vehicle was described as an older model, possibly two-door sedan with dark tinted windows. The driver’s side mirror was damaged in the incident and the driver’s side headlamp was out.
The vehicle was occupied by a male driver and female passenger. The driver was described as a white male, approximately 25 years old.

This week Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in locating the suspect(s) that were involved in a burglary and theft from the construction site for Mesa County Services located at 105 W. Colorado Avenue. Sometime between 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2011 and 8:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2011 unknown subjects entered the property and removed a Dewalt Wet Tile Saw with a 10 inch diamond tile saw blade. The total estimated value of property loss is over $1,200.

| | 1/12/2012 - Hit & Run Suspect Sought | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

This week Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying the suspect of a Hit & Run accident that took place at the intersection of Burkey Street and Patterson Road on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. At approximately 4:30PM two female pedestrians waited for traffic to stop before walking across Burkey Street when the vehicle at the stop sign accelerated and struck one of the females. The unidentified female driver continued on, heading west bound Patterson Road. A witness described the suspect as a blonde or grey haired female in her 40’s or 50’s. The vehicle is described as a small car white and dark in color.

| | 1/5/2012 - Theft Suspects Wanted | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) that were involved in a theft. Sometime between 3pm on Sunday, November 13th and 12pm Monday, November 21st, unknown suspect(s) entered the property located at 785 24 Road, Grand Junction, and removed a red and black auger with a hydraulic plate for a Thomas Bobcat, a 1985 Bell Ditch Witch Gooseneck trailer with about an 18’ white deck faded with red showing through, three tires for a Bobcat Skid Steer and a Polaris 400 Automatic ATV 94-97 model with a small tear in the seat and purple sierra land design stickers. The total estimated value of the stolen ATV and equipment is over $6,000.

Sometime between 12pm on Thursday, September 1, 2011 and 9:15am on Monday, October 31, 2011 unknown suspects unlawfully accessed the top of the Eastgate Shopping Center and stole the copper and coils out of the air conditioning units. The total estimated property loss and damage is over $20,000.

| | 12/22/2011 - Forgery Suspects Sought | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to identify the suspects who stole a check that was deposited on May 19, 2011 at a grocery store payment utility box located on Horizon Drive. The following week, on May 27, 2011 two suspects used the altered check to make a purchase at Wal-Mart located at 2545 Rimrock Drive. Video surveillance captured two subjects; the first white female subject had long dark hair and wore a dark jacket with blue jeans. The second either white or Hispanic male subject was bald with a goatee and wore a white striped Chicago Cubs baseball jersey with baggy blue jeans. This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the two male suspects that stole a gas welder and plasma cutter from Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Store located at 3217 I70B, Clifton on Tuesday, November 22nd between 6:30 and 7p.m. The first male subject wore a printed baseball cap, black long sleeve shirt and jeans. The Grand Junction Police Department needs the public’s help to identify and locate suspect(s) that were involved in a vandalism.
Between 10:00pm on Friday, November 25th, and 8:00am Saturday, November 26th, unknown person(s) used an unknown caliber firearm to shoot out a window in the parts department at Western Slope Auto located at 2264 Hwy 6 & 50. The subject(s) also shot a 2010 Ford Explorer that was parked in the sales lot. Damage in this incident exceeded $1500.00.

The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a burglary and theft from a business located at 755 26 Road. Sometime between 6pm on Monday, August 8th and 6:15am on Tuesday, August 9th, unknown subjects cut the lock on the west gate and entered Bookcliff Gardens’ property. While inside, they removed a Steel brand grass trimmer and 52 gallons of gas and forced entry into a shed. The total estimated damage and property loss is over $1,400.
