October 30, 2014

This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of a male subject involved in a burglary.

Shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 31st the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a business alarm at Super C convenience store located at 2685 C Road.  The unknown suspect gained entry to the business by breaking a window.  The total damage and property loss is in excess of $1,100.  The suspect was described as a while male, approximately 5’7”, slender to medium build, wearing shorts, a dark color hooded sweatshirt with “Colorado” across the front and high top tennis shoes.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

October 23, 2014

Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole merchandise from Sportsman’s Warehouse located at 2464 US Hwy 6 & 50 on Tuesday, September 16th around 4:00 pm. 

The suspect is a White male, early 20’s, 5’8”-5’10” tall, about 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a short sleeve button up shirt, tan pants and black and white baseball cap.  The surveillance photo of the suspect and the female he was traveling with can be viewed at www.241STOP.com.

October 16, 2014

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating the suspects involved in an assault.

At 2 a.m. on Saturday, September 13th, police were dispatched to a medical call in the 400 block of Main Street.  The male victim, 33 year old Zachery Lane was found unconscious and bleeding on the south sidewalk.  Lane was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries. Grand Junction Police detectives believe that Mr. Lane was assaulted.

 This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to identify the suspect(s) involved in a theft from Rocket Park located at 1827 N. 26th Street.

Sometime between Thursday, July 24th and Thursday, July 31st, unknown subjects entered the park and removed a piece of artwork from above the drinking fountain near the restrooms.  The piece of artwork consisted of 2.5’ x 2.5’ picture of a rocket ship and space scenery made out of tile.  The stolen artwork was worth over $450.  A picture of the artwork can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the two male subjects involved in a burglary.


 Sometime between 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th, two unknown male subjects forced entry into two change machines at the Crystal Clear Car Wash located at 3202 E Road, Clifton.  The first subject was described as a white male, 35-45 year old, 6’3”-6’5” tall, about 300-325 lbs.  The second subject was described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 5’6-5’10” tall, about 125-150 lbs.  The subjects caused over $1,200 in damage and stole over $1,285 in change.  The surveillance photo of the suspects can be viewed at www.241stop.com .

Sometime between 12 a.m. on Saturday, August 23rd and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd, unknown subjects entered the parking garage area and cut the fuel lines from several vehicles and siphoned the gas.  The total estimated damage and property loss is over $600.

The Fruita Police Department needs your help to identify and locate the suspect(s) involved in a burglary and theft from the City of Fruita’s equipment yard located at 911 Raptor Road in Fruita, CO.

Sometime between April 1st and August 27th, 2014, unknown subjects unlawfully entered the property by cutting the chain to a secured gate.  Within the past three weeks the subjects cut the lock off one of the trailers and removed a LineLazer IV 3900 Graco Line Striper and a bag full of miscellaneous electric tools.  Within the past five months, the subjects removed 335 pieces of steel plates including some that were stainless steel.  The total estimated value of the stolen construction equipment is over $10,550.

 Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole a vacuum from Kohl’s Department Store located at 636 Market Street on Monday, August 25th around 5 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white female in her mid-thirties, about 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 165 lbs. with short red hair.  The suspect was last seen leaving in a white Dodge truck with Colorado license plate number 543-OVP or 543-QVP.  The stolen vacuum was a Dyson Animal worth over $700.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.

“CRIME OF THE WEEK”

August 28, 2014

 This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to identify and locate the suspects involved in a theft.

On Wednesday, July 9th about 3:45 p.m. two females entered True Value Hardware located at 1838 N. 12 Street and proceeded to remove a lawn mower from the store.  The mower is described as an orange 2014 Husqvarna HU700F valued over $300. 

The first suspect is described as a white female approximately 35-40 years old, blonde hair with black underneath.  She was wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and flip flops.  The second suspect is described white female in appeared to be in her 40’s with reddish hair.  She was wearing a black shirt, dark pants and white shoes.  The surveillance photo of the suspects can be viewed at www.241stop.com.
