February 26, 2015

 

 

This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole merchandise from Cabela’s in Mesa Mall located at 2424 US Hwy 6 & 50.

 

Shortly after 1:45 pm on Friday, February 13th Grand Junction Police Department responded to a theft in progress at Cabela’s. The suspect fled the store when security approached him. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20’s, with dark hair and a tattoo located on the back of his neck.  He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt. This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating a theft suspect.

On Sunday, November 9th the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a theft call at Chuck E Cheese restaurant located at 2424 Hwy 6 & 50.  Sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. the victim’s iPhone 6 was taken from a table inside the restaurant.  Surveillance video shows an unidentified male took the iPhone. “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

February 12, 2015

 The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect involved in a theft.

Shortly before 1 pm on Thursday, January 8th officers responded to a theft call at Wal-Mart located at 2545 Rimrock Avenue.  A male suspect removed an LG L39C Smartphone from the display.  The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years old with a medium build, about 5’8 to 6’ tall with black hair.  He wore a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.  The suspect was seen driving away in a black passenger car bearing Colorado license plate 788-QVT.  The LG Smartphone was valued over $300.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241STOP.com.

On Thursday, January 29th the victim left behind her pink iPhone 5C with a Gray Otterbox case at the Mesa County Public Library located at 530 Grand Avenue.  Surveillance video shows an unidentified female take the iPhone from the self check-out area.  The subject is described as a white or Hispanic female, approximately 20-30 years old, with long dark hair, about 5’4”, 150 pounds, wearing a bright pink jacket and blue jeans. This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating the suspects that burglarized JR Storage facility located at 2389 Leland Avenue.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, surveillance video shows a blue Ford Expedition enter the property and drive to unit 100.  A male subject with dark hair wearing blue jeans exits the vehicle and uses a bolt cutter to open the lock.  Once inside the unit the suspect removes a portable power washer and two black tool cases containing air fired staple guns.  The total estimated value of loss is over $600.00.  The surveillance photo of the suspect’s vehicle can be viewed at www.241stop.com

Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole a set of iHome portable speakers from Kohl’s Department Store located at 636 Market Street on Sunday, November 2nd around 4 p.m.

On Monday, November 10th at about 8:00 p.m. an unknown male suspect removed a silver IPad Air with a red and black Trident Kraken case from the Go Wireless business located at 2424 Hwy 6 & 50.  The suspect was described as a white male, about 5’8” to 5’10” tall with brown hair and wore glasses.  He was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with a white stripe down each sleeve.  The IPad and case was valued over $700.  The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.241stop.com.
