| 6/13/2013 - Theft from Auto Suspects Wanted | | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating the suspect(s) that were involved in several thefts from autos.
Sometime between 7pm Tuesday, March 12th and 7:30am Wednesday, March 13th, unknown subjects unlawfully entered several parked vehicles in the 700 block of Arrowest Road. While inside the vehicles, the suspects removed various tools including; oxygen bottles, acetylene bottles, hoses, regulators, barrel torches, Milwaukee porta band handheld saw, Mathey pipe beveling machine, and an 8”x4” beveling tool. The total estimated property loss is over $12,000.

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect(s) who vandalized a business.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, March 26th, officers responded to a vandalism report at CRU Heating & Cooling located at 745 Winters Avenue. The unknown subjects used rocks to break the north window of the business and multiple windows of a vehicle parked on the property. The total estimated property damage is over $1,000.

| | 5/30/2013 - Robbery Suspect Wanted | | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating the suspect that robbed the True Dollar Store at 2905 Patterson Rd around 2:40 pm on Saturday, May 18th.
The subject brandished a black handgun and was described as a white male, approximately 25-35 years old, 5 feet 8 to 10 inches tall, thin built, gray or blue eyes with a defined bone structure face. He was last seen wearing black or dark blue and gray Columbia hooded jacket with white trim on the sleeves and neck, black gloves, blue jeans, black and white Converse style tennis shoes. | | 5/23/2013 - Burglary Suspects Sought | | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”

This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is requesting your help to identify the suspects, driving a small white truck, in the surveillance photo located at www.241STOP.com.
On Sunday, March 31st between 12:30 and 3:50 am, unknown suspect(s) cut the chain link fence to gain entry into Bos Solutions located at 742 Scarlet Street. The suspects drove a white 80’s model Datsun or Toyota single cab truck, with a dark stripe across the side, onto the property and removed five spools of 150 feet of power cable containing copper wiring. On the end of each spool is a large silver plug used to power industrial equipment.
The total estimated damage and property loss is over $13,500.

Sometime between 11 pm on Thursday, May 2nd and 7 am on Friday, May 3rd, unknown suspect(s) set fire to a trash can placed under the south picnic pavilion in the Little Salt Wash Park located at 1135 18 Road, in Fruita.
The total estimated cost to replace the pavilion roof is over $5,000.

Sometime between 12 pm on Saturday, April 13th and 7:45 am on Monday, April 15th, unknown suspects forced entry into West Slope AG Center located at 2734 B ½ Road. Once inside, the suspects removed a Cobalt cordless impact driver and cordless drill, two sets of drill bits and a rifle pellet gun. The total estimated damage and property loss is over $2,200.

Sometime between 8 am on Wednesday, April 24th and 8 am on Monday, April 29th, unknown suspect(s) removed three copper backflow preventers approximately 3 feet high from the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce. The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating twelve other theft cases of backflow preventers. The estimated loss in these cases is over $5,000.
