| 6/24/2010 - Theft from Auto Suspect Wanted | “CRIME OF THE WEEK”
June 24, 2010
The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a theft from auto. Sometime between 9pm on Friday, May 7th and 8am on Saturday, May 8th, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle parked in the 600 block of Miranda Street. The suspect(s) damaged several hundred dollars worth of property and removed a black purse containing credit cards. The male suspect later used the victim’s credit cards at several convenience stores in the Grand Valley.

| | 6/17/2010 - Auto Theft Suspects Wanted |
“CRIME OF THE WEEK”
June 17, 2010
The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a theft from auto. Sometime between 6pm and 10:30pm on Saturday, April 10th, unknown suspect(s) entered the parking lot of Hooters located at 2880 North Avenue and removed a Honda Motorcycle from the bed of a red Mazda truck. The motorcycle is red/black in color with a 1 ½” tear on the left side of the seat and a “Fly Brand” pad on the front handlebars. The total estimated value of the stolen motorcycle is over $8,000.

June 10, 2010
The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in vandalizing the headstones at the Grand Junction Municipal Cemetery located at 2620 B ¾ Rd. Sometime between 6:00pm on Friday, May 21st and 8:00am on Saturday, May 22nd, unknown suspect(s) entered the southeast section of the Masonic portion of the cemetery and knocked over approximately fifteen headstones. In addition, suspect(s) broke a marble flower urn attached to the base of one headstone. The total estimated value of damage is over $5,000.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in an assault. Between 9 and 10 p.m. on May 7, 2010 unknown suspect(s) assaulted the victim causing serious injuries including a fractured jaw and internal injuries. The victim was seen during that time frame at the Willow Wood Mobile Park near 30 Rd and Red Willow Drive. The victim was later found at the Colorado River Wildlife area located at 3059 D Road.

MAY 20TH, 2010
On February 4th between 4:30 and 5:00 pm unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet from a vehicle in the 2800 block of Elm Avenue. A credit card in the stolen wallet was used by a female subject later that day at the City Market located at 2830 North Avenue. The suspect was described as a white female in her late teens or early 20’s, wearing a dark hoodie, dark beanie and blue jeans.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s help to identify suspect(s) that damaged property.
Between April 25th and April 26th unknown suspect(s) entered the field south of F Rd at 32 1/2 Rd and damaged heavy construction equipment. The suspect(s) cut several hydraulic lines, damaged the engines, and took several sets of keys to the equipment. The damage to the equipment is estimated at $10,000.00.

On the night of March 26, 2010, around 11:15 pm, an unknown suspect entered the secure lot of Motorcycle Accessories, located at 2060 E. Main St. Upon entering the lot, the suspect stole a red 2005 Honda CRF450 motorcycle.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his twenties or thirties. The suspect is average height and weight with short dark colored hair. He was wearing a dark two-tone colored jacket with a wide horizontal stripe and dark colored pants.
The suspect arrived in a light colored Dodge Durango, which was driven by another unknown suspect. The total loss is estimated at $4,000.

| | 4/22/2010 - Fraud Suspects Wanted | “CRIME OF THE WEEK” April 22, 2010
The Grand Junction Police Department needs the public’s help to identify and locate suspect(s) that were involved in a fraud at the 29 Road and North Avenue Walgreen’s. On February 5th, 2010, two men entered the store and purchased over $1,000 in merchandise using stolen credit cards. Witnesses described both men as Hispanic, who spoke in both English and Spanish. One suspect was described as a heavy set male 5’ 8” tall and weighed approximately 200 – 220 lbs. The second suspect was described as a medium built male between 5’ 8” and 5’ 11” tall and weighed between 165 lbs. and 180 lbs. Witnesses also noticed both men to be wearing several pieces of gold jewelry.

| | 4/15/2010 - Theft Suspect(s) Wanted | “CRIME OF THE WEEK” April 15, 2010
On the night of March 29, 2010 unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet from a vehicle in the Spy Glass Ridge subdivision. A credit card in the stolen wallet was used at 3 locations across the valley between midnight and 2:30am to steal gas from grocery and convenience store gas pumps. The suspects pumped the gas into multiple 5 gallon gas cans. The loss to date is under $500.
The suspect vehicles include a dark colored 4D full size truck, possibly Ford, and an older model full size truck, possibly a two-tone Ford. The gas cans were in the bed of the older truck. There are four suspects, one female and three males.
